You get even more power with the diesel engine, a turbocharged 6.7-liter six-cylinder that kicks out 370 horsepower and a whopping 850 lb-ft of torque. This engine gets a six-speed automatic transmission. Four-wheel-drive is an available option on every trim except the Power Wagon, where it comes standard. Towing is no problem for the Ram 2500 as it can haul up to 19,680 pounds, which is among the best in the class.

Six trim levels are available for the Ram 2500, and each one comes loaded with available luxury, tech, and off-road features. The first trim is the Tradesman, which has 17-inch steel wheels, air conditioning, a front bench with vinyl upholstery, a tilt-only steering wheel, Bluetooth, a USB port, and a 5-inch touchscreen interface. Next is the Big Horn, which adds to this with chrome exterior trim, 18-inch steel wheels, an integrated trailer brake controller, remote locking and unlocking, remote ignition, cloth upholstery, and an extra charge-only USB port. Looking for more luxury items? You'll find them with the Limited, Longhorn, and Laramie trims which come with LED lighting, a 115-volt power outlet, power-folding auto-dimming mirrors, parking sensors, dual-zone automatic climate control, leather upholstery, heated and ventilated front seats, and a 12-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Then there is the Power Wagon which is incredibly powerful and comes with several off-road features such as all-terrain tires, off-road shock absorbers, tow hooks, skid plates, a manual transfer case, and electronically locking differentials.

Sure! The Ram 2500 comes loaded with safety features, so you'll always feel secure when you cruise down the road. Perhaps the most innovative safety feature the Ram 2500 has is the Adaptive Forward Lighting System which comes with crisp LED lighting that can turn the lamps up to fifteen degrees and improve your nighttime visibility.
