New for the 2019 year, RAM has updated the exterior appearances of the ProMaster and ProMaster City to preserve maneuverability and efficiency even with a maximum payload.  Tying together these vans to the other RAM professional trucks, the ProMaster receives a new front fascia and grille with integrated "RAM" design. The series also receives great, fleet-friendly technologies powered by Verizon Connect, including telematics, to easily communicate between your vehicles, track job or delivery completion, and monitor driver behavior data to promote safe driving and save fuel/route efficiency.  Real-time vehicle diagnostics and performance data are right at the owner's fingertips, making for easy repair and economic driving improvements. Upfitter-friendly technology is also available for a Vehicle System Interface Module including 13 inputs and 41 outputs. This feature gives quick and reliable connections into the vehicle functions and systems for personalized performance and drive information.

To the 2019 ProMaster, RAM adds three new models to broaden the applicability of the van to any job type you might be shopping for.  The Cargo Van configuration now comes in a 2500 low roof, a 3500 low roof, and a 3500 high roof. All are built with an easy to haul 136-inch wheelbase.  Hauling capabilities have been increased as much as 240 pounds, creating a Class 2 cargo van with the highest standard payload in the segment on the market today.  The 1500 can carry 4,000 pounds without trouble, the 2500 maxes at 4,230 pounds, and the 3500 offers the best-in-class 4,680 pounds payload handling. Towing also takes an upgrade, improving its capability with a thirty percent increase in weight to now max at 6,800 pounds.  To enhance this ability, RAM offers the new Trailer-tow Group Package, adding a Class IV receiver hitch with four- and seven-pin wiring harnesses.

For those who need an in-city sprinter for all tasks that require precise maneuverability and tight, urban layout navigability, the 2019 ProMaster City is a smaller Class 1 option that offers just as much professionalism and function as its larger counterpart.  The ProMaster City comes in either a Cargo hauler with best-in-class 1,885-pound payload size in its 131.7 cubic-foot interior storage space, or a five passenger Wagon configuration. Capable, powered and built for low-speed between-block cruising, and with amazing 448-mile driving range economics, the 2019 ProMaster City meets any business need you have wherever the ProMaster can't navigate.
