Trim Levels of the 2018 Dodge Durango

The 2018 Dodge Durango is one good looking SUV! The Durango offers bold and aggressive exterior style. Key design components include the large crosshair grille and the "racetrack-tail light" design that will stop people in their tracks. Inside the SUV you'll find a spacious cabin outfitted with tons of modern technology features and high-quality materials. The Durango also offers an incredible engine lineup for the 2018 model year ranging from a capable V6 to a V8 powerhouse! Dodge offers the three-row Durango in five trim levels, all of which we've detailed below so you can find the perfect model for you and your family!

The entry-level SXT model starts the Durango lineup off with a bang! A seven-passenger seating configuration is standard but you can opt for second-row captain's chairs (on all models) which reduces the seating capacity to six passengers. The SXT is the only model that offers the option to delete the third-row seat for more cargo room. Standard features include cloth upholstery, 18-inch alloy wheels, third-row seat with 50/50 split folding and power-folding headrests, a 60/40 split folding second-row seat (that can also recline for maximum passenger comfort), a load-leveling rear suspension, three-zone climate control, heated mirrors, keyless entry and ignition, and a rearview camera. Standard technology features for this model include a six-speaker sound system, Bluetooth phone connectivity, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a seven-inch touchscreen, and two USB ports. This model is powered by the standard 3.6-liter V6 Pentastar engine that produces 260 lb-ft of torque and 293 hp. It comes paired with an automatic eight-speed transmission. 

Next up is the GT trim level. This model gains all the features from the base SXT and adds so much more! Including satellite radio, 20-inch wheels, driver-seat position memory settings, a power liftgate, a 115-volt power outlet, rear parking sensors, leather and suede upholstery, remote engine start, power-adjustable driver and front passenger seats, heated front and second-row seats, and even a heated steering wheel. The GT model is powered by the same Pentastar engine.  Dodge offers a Safety/Security and Convenience Group for this trim which adds blind spot monitoring and several of the Citadel's standard features. A Brass Monkey appearance package is also available for this trim level (and the R/T) and it adds extra body-colored trim, a gloss black grille, 20-inch bronze-painted wheels, and black headlamp bezels. 

The Citadel model gains even more features like HD radio, xenon headlights, a nine-speaker sound system with subwoofer, automatic high beams, ventilated front seats, automatic windshield wipers, a power-adjustable front passenger seat, enhanced brakes, a navigation system, front parking sensors, an 8.4-inch touchscreen with the Uconnect interface, roof-rail crossbars, a power-adjustable steering column, a sunroof, additional leather trim, a cargo cover, additional leather trim, and upgraded leather upholstery. Dodge offers the optional Anodized Platinum appearance package for this trim level which adds special interior trim and upgraded leather upholstery with exclusive silver accent stitching. The Citadel trim level is also powered by the 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 engine but a 5.7-liter V8 engine is optional.

The R/T trim level takes the Durango into the high-performance realm. This trim level is powered by a 5.7-liter V8 engine that produces 390 lb-ft of torque and 360 hp. Additional features for this model include a Beats audio system, upgraded steering system, red accent stitching, a sport-tuned suspension, LED fog lights, and a performance hood design. A sunroof and roof rails are optional. A Technology Group is offered for this trim level (and the Citadel) which adds features like lane keeping assist, adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, and forward collision warning with automatic braking. 

The brand-new for 2018 SRT model cranks the performance dial all the way up! This model is powered by a 6.4-liter V8 engine that generates 470 lb-ft of torque and 475 hp and is all-wheel drive only. Features include performance-tuned steering, SRT Performance Pages, an adaptive suspension, and an electronically controlled limited-slip differential. With the SRT model, you also get a driver's session at the SRT Track Experience driving school. Options for this trim level include the Technology Group, a sunroof, the SRT Interior Appearance Group, and the rear entertainment system. Stand-alone features available depending on the trim level include a trailer tow package, a dual-screen rear entertainment system, second-row armrest, and a Mopar Running Board package.
