Trim Levels of the 2020 Dodge Durango
By Roberts Chrysler Dodge RAM FIAT
The Dodge Durango can sometimes get lost in Dodge's lineup thanks to its drag strip destroying muscle cars, but it is one of the most potent and technologically advanced SUVs on the market today! You won't find a standard four-cylinder here. Instead, Dodge comes out of the gate strong with a V6 and several potent V8s. Less you think that the Durango sacrifices SUV utility for straight-line performance, all of the engines provide consumers with outstanding towing ability as well as four-wheel-drive. You also get a ton of space that can seat up to seven passengers. As for features, the constant updates have managed to keep the Durango fresh, and the 2020 version comes with the latest infotainment system as well as some excellent creature comforts. The 2020 Durango comes with five trim levels, and each comes with a multitude of features. Take a trip with us as we break down each one.
SXT
Starting things out is the base SXT, and it comes with a 3.6-liter V6 engine that pumps out 295 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque, which pairs with an eight-speed automatic transmission. Features for the SXT include a push-button start, three-zone climate control, power-folding third-row headrests, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Also included is a load-leveling rear suspension. When properly equipped, the SXT can haul up to 6,200 pounds.
GT
More convenience features are available for the GT as it adds remote ignition, a power liftgate, a power driver's seat, 115-volt power outlet, and satellite radio. You also get a more aggressive styling.
Citadel
If you're looking for something a little more luxurious, the Citadel delivers with leather and vinyl upholstery, heated front and second-row seats, an 8.4-inch touchscreen with navigation, and a nine-speaker stereo with a subwoofer, and more.
R/T
More performance-oriented features can be found with R/T as it comes standard with a 5.7-liter V8 engine that spits out 360 horsepower and 390 lb-ft of torque. The new engine allows the R/T to haul up to 7,400 pounds when properly equipped. Also included is low-range gearing that comes with the optional four-wheel-drive system. If you want something looks and drives more aggressively, then the R/T is your best bet.Â
SRT
The SRT oozes on-road power in the form of a 6.4-liter V8 engine that pumps out 475 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque. Additional features include an electronic limited-slip differential, Brembo brakes, and performance-tuned suspension. Also coming standard is upgraded leather and simulated-suede upholstery and ventilated front seats. With the optional towing package, the SRT can tow up to 8,700 pounds.
